What Should be Used to Clean the Stove

The task of cleaning a stove either at home or work has never been easy. This is especially the case if you are about to do it for the first time. One of the major questions that almost everyone asks has to do with the items and products needed to clean a stove. So, what should be used to clean the stove? There are a number of products that can be used to clean your stove depending on the parts that are being cleaned.

For stove top use Ammonia
For you to easily clean any removable part of the stove, you may want to consider using Ammonia. These parts include oven racks, burner pans and door panels among many other parts. Begin by removing them from the stove and insert them in a trash bag. When you are done, combine equal parts of Ammonia and water, pour the mixture in the trash bag and then allow them to soak for at least one hour. Ensure to tie the bag in order to reduce fumes.

While you let the stove parts soak, scrape using a single edge razor blade any carbon build ups and grease that has accumulated inside or on the stove overtime. Use the same ammonia-water solution to spray on the scraped areas of the stove and leave it for around fifteen minutes. Later on you may use green scrub pad to clean the stove areas and stove parts and then wipe with a cloth. By the time you are done, your stove should be sparkling clean. This technique works extremely well, making it a reliable method.

Baking soda
Your stove burners can also be cleaned using baking soda. This can be achieved by putting burners in a huge pot, cover it with water and then add the baking soda. Allow the water to boil before simmering until all the grease and grime comes out easily.

Tile cleaners
There are people who use any type of bathroom tile as well as tub cleaner to easily clean their stoves. These products also produce great results in your stove cleaning tasks. The best part is, even the cheapest cleaner that costs $1 gets the work done.
